Cold
Fearing alleyways
Politics feeds anger
Buttons pop
Doors slam
You wonder where time went
And if you will see it again
Why does the light dim
When the window is wide open
Please take care of yourself
And your heart
Because you never know who will need a little piece
And when pain will fade
If you take back the blinds
And just hold a cat

Things will get better. That is what comes eventually, something to hope for. If you have a cat, hug them a bit. Make a favorite dish that you like to eat as well, perhaps that will help lift your spirits, even if it's just a little.

Aww Thank you SO much Lucy! That really helps. Yes…I felt last night like a part of my soul had been ripped…I am a very peaceful person…But yesterday turned me into a raging angry woman because I was standing up for myself and my boyfriend. It hurts when you try to be so good and another person completely ignores that and sees only the bad that they created themselves. Yes, my Mom told me to make home-made salsa…That finally pulled me back out. We will see. Please if you pray to a God or a tree…Pray for me and those who need some love.
